The Goal:
– To modernize Omiye MFB's online presence—both web and mobile—to improve access and usability for individuals and small businesses. – To empower users with digital self-service tools, reducing in-branch reliance and boosting engagement. – To deliver a scalable, secure mobile app that supports essential banking tasks: fund transfers, bill payments, account monitoring, and loan access.

The Challenge:
– The legacy web portal lacked clear flows and visual hierarchy, making key services hard to find. – The previous mobile experience was non-existent or fragmented, leaving users reliant on physical branches. – Needed to balance ease-of-use with robust security for operations like transfers, PAYG loans, and payments—without overwhelming users with complexity.

My Contribution
– Collaborated with stakeholders and devs to craft both responsive web interfaces and native mobile flows aligned with Omiye’s brand. – Designed clear user journeys for account opening, loan requests, savings management, bill payments (like electricity and water), and fund transfers. – Integrated biometric login (face/fingerprint) for quick, secure access, plus in-app support with dynamic FAQs. – Developed high-fidelity, pixel-perfect prototypes and iterated through testing to ensure both usability and compliance. – Established a UI pattern library and reusable design components to ensure consistency across platforms.
